How to Use an Electric Eyelash Curler

It is really amazing to know that there are thousands of devices that are invented just to make women more beautiful. One of these devices is the electric eyelash curler. This small gadget can give you beautiful, lush eyelashes in just a few seconds. Furthermore, because the gadget is heated, the curls last much longer. As most women know, curled eyelashes can make your eyes look brighter and wider.

Using an electric curler is easy, but there are tips on how to do the curling properly. First, make sure your eyelashes are clean and dry. Remove chunks of mascara on them if you have previously applied makeup. If needed, use an eye makeup remover to get rid of traces of old mascara. If you leave old makeup on your lashes, the heat from the curler will melt the residue into a gooey mess. The lashes themselves might even be torn off. That is why it is best to apply mascara after curling.

While doing the above step, turn on your electric curler and wait for about 20 seconds for it to heat up. After that, touch the metal. If it is too hot, let it cool for a few seconds. Open the curler then let your lashes slide between the clamps. Close the curler and clamp the lashes tightly near the roots. Make sure though not to touch the curler to the eyelid itself to avoid burning yourself. Hold the curler closed for 10 to 30 seconds then open slowly. Do the same to your other eyelashes. After curling, you can now apply your mascara, eyes shadow, and other makeup.
